Father Christmas visits the author in the small hours, and is revealed in an unconventional light. Stephen Leacock, today on The Classic Tales Podcast.

Welcome to The Classic Tales Podcast. Thank you for listening.

Well, it’s about Christmastime, and one of my favorite things about Christmas is Charles Dickens. I’m pleased to announce that the next audiobook will be The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickelby, by Charles Dickens. And to go along with Nicholas, all other titles by Charles Dickens will be 50% off. This includes Great Expectations, David Copperfield, A Christmas Carol and many others.

So head on over to www.thebestaudiobooks.com and get your Dickens on, today! And remember, all audiobook purchases are backed up in perpetuity.

Stephen Leacock was a Canadian writer and humorist. Today’s story was written in 1914, as the world was reacting to the impact of World War I. It is incredible to me how many things the author points out that we are still complaining about and longing for – 100 years later.

And now, Merry Christmas, by Stephen Leacock
